Are my scores good enough?

I'm looking into schools like Pomona, Wesleyan, Swarthmore, Brown, Tufts, Claremont McKenna, Vassar, Macalester, Occidental, and Amherst.

SAT I:
670 CR, 710 M, 700 W (1380, 2080)
700 CR, 740 M, 710 W (1440, 2150) <- Superscore/highest sitting

SAT II:
Biology M - 760
Math II - 800

ACT:
31 (27 E, 32 R, 32 M, 34 S - 10 W, 28 E/W)
32 (34 E, 27 R, 33 M, 33 S - 10 W, 33 E/W)

33 (34 E, 32 R, 33 M, 34 S) - Superscore

So are my scores good enough? Or should I retake the SAT/ACT or take more subject tests? My top choice is Pomona.

Bumppppppp

I don’t mean to be rude, but you are looking at colleges, you should be able to find such common information on your own and be independent. Go on the College Board or Common Data Set for each college that you are interested in and look at their average scores.

No. They’re terrible go study more to get the 2400. Just Kidding. Those scores are pretty incredible, but it never hurts to do better! Check out the colleges you’re interested in and look at their SAT requirements. I’d imagine you’d get into a lot of places with scores like that provided you’re GPA is good.

@ArtsyGirl13: No offense taken. I’ve already looked at the schools I’m interested in and I fall within their range but I didn’t know if that was enough. I was mainly interested to know if the benefits of retaking any of the tests outweigh looking like a test-obsessed person.

@potato00: My GPA is only around a 3.5 so that’s why I’m kind of worried :/

Maybe Macalaster or Occidental. The others are highly unlikely.

FYI - just a small point about scores - most schools will not superscore the ACT - they may look at the highest subscores, but not superscore the composite score

If you’re white, middle eastern, or Asian…
Try to bring your score up 100 points.

If you’re hispanic, black, or native American…
Sit back and relax.

A 3.5 is going to be the bigger issue for those schools…

They won’t be the best or the worst scores…they probably won’t hurt you, but they won’t make you stand out either, so you’ll have to rely on GPA, ECs, and essays to get you in!
Go look at the 25 and 75 percentiles for each of those schools to get an idea of the SAT ranges
