Are my Standardized Test Scores up to par?

<p>I will be a senior in high school next school year. I have taken the SAT twice and ACT once.</p>

<p>My SAT score when from a 1710 to an 1830 (with an 11/12 on my writing). They're no where near as good as I'd like them to be. My ACT score for the first time was a 27, but I intend on retaking that and getting it into the 30s.</p>

<p>My GPA is a 3.9 approx unweighted. I am 5/351 in the class.</p>

<p>The top school that I am mainly wanting to apply to is U of M in ann arbor, boston university, and UCLA. I don't have much confidence in UCLA honestly, but how much do I need to improve in order to be considered for u of m or BU?</p>

<p>U of M I think is a reach if you're a OOS. GPA is fine. Raise your SATs.</p>

<p>I'd send in the ACT but your GPA is good enough to balance it out for somewhere like Boston...You would want to retake for UMich and UCLA.</p>
