The page seems to be a little out of date…the “preferred” SAT score is out of 1600…

varska - impressive.

i knew nothing about college swimmng 1 minute ago, now i can look at all kinds of data. i realize swimming is much easier to measure than other sports. i wish they had this for every sport, so folks can see what it takes for a hs athlete to become a college athlete. numbers don’t lie. the participation numbers are really interesting. thanks.

Thanks - I stumbled upon this site for track and field data and the numbers seem pretty accurate from my experience.

Are you a male or female swimmer? If you are female then yes your times are good enough for some D1 schools. If you are male, then probably not. If you are male you should look at some D3 schools-- you could swim at some of them

I’m a girl.

Your times are D1 recruit worthy. Take a look at Stanford’s stats - looks to me like you’d be a fit

OP- Many colleges still look at the 1600 scale for recruiting- the writing component is not emphasized.

Definitely good times for a girl. Also, how old are you? If you are young there is still time to improve even more which would make you recruitable almost anywhere. I would imagine you would know at this point that you are recruitable, as the 1000 and the mile are Jr Nat cuts and the other two are only a second off!
