I'm fortunate enough to have parents who are willing to take care of all the costs of my undergraduate education at Cornell University. However, the catch is that they are expecting me to pay for everything in regards to my graduate education. I'm only a senior in high school right now, but I've already started trying to get an idea of what medical school costs will be like for me. Does anybody know how financial aid works for medical school students? Do medical schools give grant money or loans....both....or neither? If they do award aid, are my parents' incomes and investments factored into how much I am awarded (as is the case for undergraduate financial aid)?

Grad schools for PhD and most humanties subjects does NOT include parental info.

PROFESSIONAL school- med/law/business - does usually ask for parent info even if the student is mature and truly independent
