I’m almost never alone. I go to a small school though, which might make a difference. But too be honest, I wish I had more alone time sometimes haha

During the day, its definitely what you make of it. If you really want to be with people all the time, then it won’t be too hard to find friends who are either in your class or have class nearby, so you can walk to new classes or get lunch with these people. If you don’t really care, then you don’t have to put effort into it. But at night, there are always people in the common room watching tv or playing video games or just hanging out.

Pretty much, it shouldnt be too hard to find people to hang out with whenever you want, but sometimes it can be inconvenient.

I personally am alone most of time. I have early classes, so I either skip breakfast or have it alone. Lunch, I usually make myself something in my room, or pack something and eat it in my room. I have a single, so I do spend a lot of time in my room–working (so much nicer to work in your room when it’s quiet than the library) or napping.

For dinner, I usually go to the cafeteria with a couple friends…most people don’t eat dinner alone at my school, though I have seen people do it. But if I’m super busy, I pack a dinner and eat it alone in my room while I work. Somehow, whenever I eat with friends, an hour goes by before I even know it.

Even in going to classes, even if I have a class with my friends, we usually all go separately because it’s just more conveniant–we all have different schedules, so we’re all on different parts of campus during the day.

Personally, I really enjoy the solitude. You don’t have to worry about anyone else’s schedule. Also, I just really value my “me time”.
I tend to be less alone on weekends, but even then, I take a few hours out to just chill by myself in my room, reading a book or catching up my favorite shows. I think of this as analagous to high school, when I was at home just chilling after dinner during the week (on those beautiful days where I didn’t have a lot of homework), or on those lazy Saturday mornings where I didn’t feel like driving over to anyone’s house.

I eat alone 98% of the time. Out of my first 4 months I probably ate with people 5-10 times. Remember that’s not a lot considering there’s 3 meals in a day and 7 days in a week.

I’m used to it now lol. My thing is, honestly, it can get boring. What do you guys do when you eat alone? Reading seems pretty common…
