I got my psat scores (as a sophomore) back a while ago, and managed a 212. It said that my prospective score on the actual SAT could be found by adding a 0 on. So is it really likely that I'll get a 2120 on the SAT, and how did your SAT scores compare with your PSAT scores?

Just curious.

if you were to take the SAT the day after the PSAT, your scores would be lower because the questions are more difficult. The scores are, however, comparable because they are on the same scale. Your score should not differ too much, and with some studying you will probably do better on the SAT

If your taking the SAT's as a junior, they might even rise slightly. The main difference between the SAT and PSAT is endurance - you have to reamin accurate for 4 or 5 hours. Practicing between now and the SAT will also help you improve. See if there are any patterns to the question you missed.

Somewhere in the linked thread, Papa Chicken compiled an extensive list/ statistical analysis.

Yeah the above link is helpful. I didn't study for the PSAT or the SAT and I got a 210 (72V/67M/71W) on the PSAT and a 2100 (71V/68M/71W) on the SAT
