I am a senior and I have not yet taken any SAT subject tests. I cannot take them on 10/4 due to a conflict. The earliest I can take them is 11/1 so I am not sure if the scores will be ready in time for the 11/15 early decison deadline. I took the ACT plus writing and I heard that if you took that then you do not have to submit any subject tests. Can someone tell me if that is true or not?

No, sorry. You'll have to take subject tests. I'm not sure the exact numbers, but generally 3 for Ivies.. (Harvard). They need the ACT plus writing and subject tests.

I'm not sure if it would be a problem if you sent them in late from the November date, though. You'd have to ask/call.

try looking on websites this info is so easy to get....
2 for every ivy, except 3 for H and P
Figure out the times on your own from the websites

Cornell CALS does not require any. Some schools w/in Cornell only require 1.

Yale and Brown don't require them if you took ACT with writing.

Brown Admission: About the Application

That's all I know because those are the only Ivies I'm applying to. Good luck!

Some Ivies don't require them, some require two, some require three. Unless there is a major conflict, try to take them in October. That way, even if you do badly, you at least have one more chance at them. And yes, I believe that SAT scores from November can be used (not 100%, but could have sworn I read it somewhere else here on CC).
