Are SAT's Necessary Or Helpful For A Transfer Student?

I am currently attending a community college and hope to transfer to USC in the Fall of 2008 as a Music Industry (B.S.) major. However, during high school, I was home schooled due to a multitude of illnesses and never took my SAT's. I managed to put up a 3.9 GPA (unweighted) throughout high school and have put up a similar one throughout my tenure at community college, thus far. So my question is this...

While SAT's/SAT II's/ACT, etc. are something that every college looks at when viewing an application, are these just as essential for a transfer student? Would it be advised for me to take these finally or would it be merely pointless? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It will help if you have a good store, but USC doesn't pay attention to it after a certain amount of units (30 I think?).

If you're a CC student in California, you're in good hands. No need to take the SAT's, just get good grades.

If you're applying for sophomore status (less than 60 units), I think they consider highschool stuff.
