I'm taking psychology of the life span at my cc this summer and I'm a little nervous. Only because I got a C in biological psychology

Do you think this class could be as hard? The intro psychology class was super fun and easy got an A and I'm hoping this one will be easier since it's grouped under social and behavior science while bio psych was under lab science on IGETC

I forever blamed my teacher since it was the only C I ever got and all he did was talk about himself and do magic tricks, yes magic tricks but I'm starting to think maybe I'm not cut out for the class

Psychology of the Life Span? I never heard of that. Sounds intriguing. Psychology is usually pretty easy, unless maybe it’s statistics or methodology. Bio psychology would be in a different league than regular psych. You should be fine.

Biological Psych is more science based than other lower division Psych classes. I’m not familiar with Life Span, but I would imagine it’s probably more in line with intro Psych.

ppl usually think the “social” side of psych is easier. classes like biological psych, cognitve psych, neuroscience, etc scares ppl sometimes

@lindyk8 yea i guess it focuses on the changes as we age.

@2016candles yea I was hoping it was more like intro vs bio psych

@randombookie I went into bio psych thinking I would do fine. I was wrong tho I’m not that great at science, I even prefer math over it.

Biopsych is definitely one of the hardest psych courses. It sounds like you’re basically taking developmental psych, which is really more theory and concept based than biopsych, so it should be significantly easier. I wouldn’t worry about it.
