Are the essays listed in CommApp/CollegeSite valid for this yr appln? OR Likely 2 change aft Aug1st?

<p>Since my son has some free time right now in this summer, he is planning to work on the essays that are listed in the CommonApp.org and the respective college web sites. One question though. We are not clear whether they are the same essays for this year!!! OR Does the essay topic changes only after every August 1st? Thank you.</p>

<p>The Common App prompts are not going to change. Specific college essay prompts may, though. Brown changes its prompts every few years.</p>
