Are the meal plans a little pricey?

Approximately $11 per meal. Soup Plantation (a chain in california) is less than $10 and it provides a broad array of really healthy choices.

I guess when you have a monpoly, you assert the pricing advantage.

If you get unlimited and eat enough, the price per meal approaches zero. That’s my plan.

^hahahahahahahaha

^^ hhahahahaha yess

its a win-win situation, either you get a great deal or you avoid the freshman 15

hahahahahha - good luck eating over 5,000 meals in a single academic year… ;)

another option: live off free food. when i was visiting i heard a story about someone who decided to see how long he (or she) could go without a meal plan and ended up lasting a full year eating only free food from various events and clubs

^Unless you are a hibernating bear, this plan is not recommended.

the price becomes arbitrarily close to 0 as you eat more!

@BuddyMcAwesome - I was on the unlimited plan last year and ate lots of food, and I still managed to lose 15 pounds. So for me, it was the freshman 15, just in the right direction haha.

Definitely get the unlimited plan. You can use all those extra meals to buy snacks at [Late Meal](http://www.princeton.edu/facilities/info/dining/residential/plans/pol/). And yes the meal plans are a little pricey, but they’re much cheaper than the eating clubs so don’t complain.

You’re right, Princeton is too expensive. Don’t go there!
