Are the Official SAT Study Guide Practice tests accurate?

Hello all, I've been going at it with the practice tests in the CollegeBoard books for 4 months. I've been scoring around 1840 and no higher than 1990. I'm pretty content with these scores.

However, are these tests really a good indicator of how the SAT is?

I have a serious anxiety that come test day questions will be twice as hard and more difficult just as a way of making our lives and efforts miserable. I'm just very pessimistic about the real thing and I see CollegeBoard as an evil test corporation that wants kids to retake the SAT as many times as possible to prolong success.

Please console me.

That’s as accurate as it gets. But really, you just need to chill out. If you go into it expecting you’re going to do poorly, you will. You’re prepared, you know what to expect, and that’s enough. The SAT is just one day in your life, so don’t give it so much power over your mood! Now go in there and kick butt :)

take a deep breath and stay positive and tell ur self that ur gonna kick a$$ on this test.

honestly yeah, they are
