How accurate is "The Official SAT Study Guide"?

You know, the official College Board SAT Study Guide. How did your practice test scores compare to your actual scores? I've been taking the practice tests and am doing surprisingly well, so I'm just wondering if I can expect similar results when I write the actual SAT.

Very accurate.

^ I second that. I did 3 practice tests in the week leading up to the exam. I got 2400, 2380, and 2380. Guess what my real score was? 2380.

It’s THE best for practice. Check out silverturtle’s study guide if you don’t believe me.

Silver, on how many of your practice tests did you score a 2400?

I don’t remember exactly, but I believe my progression on the tests that I took over winter break was approximately 2370 –> 2390 –> 2400 –> 2400 and then 2400 on the real thing. Only the first test was in one sitting, though.

^ silverturtle is a beast. When I did practice tests, I would always want to refer to the answers section to see if I was right.
