Sorry the title didn't make much sense cuz there wasn't much room...but I applied before the scholarship deadline, got the letter that needed my midyear grades, sent them, and also i wasn't considered for the scholarships. Does this mean im still in the running to being admitted?

Have some people who had no chance, denied already? my scores are low, but not thaat low. PM for more information.

If you look around the USC forum. many people have said in many different places that denials aren’t sent out until late March/early April, around the same time as non-scholarship acceptances. Either way, since you received the letter, you should hear back by April 1. As far as anyone knows (or logic stands to reason), the letter does not indicate either an acceptance or a denial, it just means that you’re not getting one of those two scholarships, you need to send in your grades, and you’ll hear back in a bit less than two months.
