Are the people who usually read admission related e-mails usually part of the

admissions committee?

I made two errors on the Common Application that I have had to send e-mails to in the past two days. I was wondering if this would hurt my chances of admission since whoever is reading the e-mails has already heard from me. Gah...

im kinda down about this, ha ha.

careless errors...

It won't hurt your chances for admission and really, college admissions offices get so many emails and phone calls that they don't have time to sit around saying, "Gee, that kid sounds like an idiot." :)

However, I would call the schools in question first to ask how they want you to notify them of corrections. Some schools may ask you to send a corrected hard copy of the Common App, some will just take a letter. So, call first, and then follow up by mail.

Hmm, I see.

so it wouldnt hurt my admissions chances at all?

If they notice at all, I think that it'll look good that you bother to write in about things... to double-check and get your mistakes corrected and all.
