question

is it detrimental to send an email to admissions about an error on your application that you want to correct?

No, go ahead and send it.

i sent an erratum :d

but there were errors on the erratum! HAHAHA

they do actually read it rite? when u send it to like admissions@watever.com?

for the most part, they do read the emails. It might take a while though, depending on the school

They read the emails, and in most cases, respond, too. At least all the schools I've been in contact with have.

Corrections are not detrimental. Explanations might be.

am i the only person who had to look up detrimental?

Probably not, but it does make me wonder how you did on the CR section of your SATs.

umm.. i kinda gave an explanation.. so thas bad? seems like an excues?

Well, what exactly did you write?

If you're honest and earnest about your mistake, I'd think they wouldn't mind at all.

If you got a 750 and you wrote 650 by mistake, that would be a correction.

To say that you got a 650 and it should have been a 750 because of scantron error or missed bubbles, that would be an explanation.
