Are there any 7 year programs like Sophie Davis?

Are there any 7 year programs like Sophie Davis, specifically those that have a less strict GPA maintenance policy? Programs where you can do it easy for undergrad, not worrying about too much pressure? Thanks!

There are other programs (Google is your friend) but there is absolutely no way to get a BS and an MD in 7 years by “doing it easy.”

tons of programs out there. here’s a list: http://www.medicalhelpnet.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=28&Itemid=46

look at their requirements for admission into undergrad and admission into medical school. I guess your definition of “easier” could be no MCAT requirement and a lower GPA requirement.

Union/AMC requires you to maintain a 3.5 GPA, no MCAT. Finch/Chicago has an “easier” requirement of 3.25 GPA and MCAT with no required score. Look at different websites for specific information!

BS/MD programs are extremely hard to get into, so most of the people who are admitted are more than ready for the program and should have no problem maintaining the min GPA or min MCAT unless they slack off.

If you want to "do it easy’ you do not belong in these programs.

Muhlenberg has one with Temple, Siena College with Albany Medical, St. Bonaventure has four. One with George Washington, two with SUNY Upstate Medical & Dental and one with LECOM. Variations as well.

Sophie Davis is free (or nearly so). That’s a big difference among these programs. Try the program at Brooklyn College, too. That’s free as well (or nearly so). I’ve heard that all of these programs are very intense FWIW. You have to really be into the program to make it through, apparently.

Here’s a comprehensive list: http://www.ivyplanners.com/documents/BS-MD-IvyPlanners.pdf, as well as this one: http://www.■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■/BA_MD_programs.html. In terms of “Programs where you can do it easy for undergrad, not worrying about too much pressure?”, I would not choose a Bachelor/MD program in terms of ability to coast, as once you get to the med school part, it’s not a switch you can just turn on at the tip of a hat.
