I’m an international student from Poland, but I really want to study in US boarding school for my 11th and 12th year of high school, however, I’ve seen that every school requires SSAT, ISEE, or other testsY. Unfortunately, I cannot take any of those in Poland. Do you happen to know about any schools that don’t necessarily require them or do you have any ideas what should I do?
Contact the admissions office at the schools you are interested in and ask.
@kamilakubacka you can do a search on boardingschoolreview.com – do an advanced search and you can enter in “SSAT not required” in the appropriate field.
That said, I cannot imagine that there isn’t some sort of work-around at major schools for students who live in countries where they cannot take the SSAT. (I"m guessing you can’t take PSAT or SAT either?)
I might reach out to a few schools you are interested in and ask them how do students from Poland apply.
I’m guessing there will be many test optional schools this year if they can’t hold the test in a group setting.
Agree with @busymommyof4. I already saw that Hotchkiss is test optional this year.
