Are there any good BS/MBA or BS/JD programs out there?

Hi:

Please let me know about the top BS/MBA and BS/JD programs. What are the requirements? Thanks

Hmm, I thought you were set on medical schools. Anyway, I always thought that BA/MBA and BA/JD programs were never linked with the finest law or business schools but a quick search shows that UPenn has a BA/JD program. That sounds leet, IMO.

edit: I read the Penn website further and saw that applicants applied during college. So it’s not really a real BA/JD program…
My knowledge is limited on the subject but I’ve heard more emphasis is placed on prestige of schools attended in careers in law and business, as compared to medicine where any US medical school is good.

Hi Schritzo: I am still motivated to be there. I have spoken with family friends and they scarred the heck out of me. Also, I read the medical school confidential book to make it more worse on my part. Add fuel to the fire, look at Obama socializing the health care. It is very conceivable the financial reward factor will be short lived other than your own gratification to help the needed. Imagine you are in 200K in hole, and spend2-8 years in residency and come out to realize that we are witnessing a commie style health care system. If they preach a commie style health care, then follow Indian style of health care. Allow students to get out of medical schools in less than six years and allow them to practice. If someone wants to become a surgeon then the program should be limited 2 years. In India, they have M.S programs for specialized fields other than a basic doctor (FP/IM)( 2 years) after you get your medical degree. In summary, a high school student can become a neuro surgeon or heart surgeon within 8 years after getting the high school degree. The renumeration is not as good as in USA, but still they are great doctors and surgeons.

In summary, if we want to follow socialized health care structure they need to revise the curriculum of medical structure in USA. No one wants to spend 16 years after high school to become a neuro surgeon (imagine SAT, SAT 2, MCAT, USMLE 1, 2, 3, Board Exams) and work for a government subsidy under Obama’s commie health care system. I am rethinkng the whole process. I am totally against Obama’s health care plan. May be, if money is the motivator, join Wharton and get the MBA and get hired by filthy Goldman Sachs or become an attorney with no morales. LOL! Incredible choices we have for the future generations…
