<p>The college I am attending this fall does not offer online summer classes for incoming freshman. Are there any colleges out there that offer online classes that can be transferable to another college? I don't mean schools like DeVry or Phoenix. </p>
<p>For example, would Penn State have online classes that could offer credit to be transferred for a student heading to Boston University?</p>
<p>Try checking at your local community college. They might not offer anything online, but chances are it’s close enough to commute anyways.</p>

<p>So took classes at a State U and also a community college, 4 in all, over his first summer between freshmen and soph years to get general ed classes out of the way. I don’t think it would matter that you want t o take them prior to freshmen yr. You want to make sure they will accept the credits! Call and ask them!</p>
