Are there any other classes I should take in my senior year of high school?

Hi,
I am currently junior in high school and everyone is trying to schedule classes for next year.
I’m aiming for an honorary diploma.

My Current Plan for next year:
Calculus or AP Calculus
AP biology
Physics
Physical Education
A Foreign language.

I’m not sure what I want to be in future, but I might be going for something related to the computer technology field.
Should I take Calculus or AP Calculus?
Should not take AP Biology since I’m not going to the med field.

Any Advice?

Thanks.

You don’t have to take an English class in senior year?

I will… There still some classes that I have not listed above but I’m just looking for some advice on what other classes I should take before college. For example: Should I take AP calculus or calculus? Thanks.

It depends, have you taken Hnrs Precalc or Hnrs Alg 2? If so, how’d you do in the class? Do YOU feel like you could handle an AP math class? Taking AP Bio would provide you with some helpful information, but do feel like you could stay motivated through the class?

Calculus or AP Calculus => if you got B or higher in Precalc Honors, it’d make sense to take AP Calc.
AP biology => does your school offer AP CS Principles and/or AP CS A? Either or both would be better than AP Bio
Physics => yes, very important
Physical Education => is that a state/HS requirement? if not, is it necessary for your health or do you practice sports otherwise?
A Foreign language.=> continue your foreign language to the highest level
English/Humanities
Social Science: history, economics, government

If you have other periods:
a CTE class could be good, especially one that’s related to technology, engineering, computers…
a class such as Culinary Arts (useful your whole life) or Financial Literacy (useful too) can be good and are typically easy

For a Computer type major, I would not take AP Bio but would take AP Physics 1. No need to take two lab sciences.
I also would take any CS course your HS has, preferably an AP.
