I live in the Sacramento area in California and I was planning on taking classes this summer at my local community college. Turns out that there is no more room and I probably wont get in. Are there any summer programs that I could take part in that are still accepting. I know it's pretty late but I really need an alternative.

UPenn, JSA, theres still alot just gotta research mate

There have been several threads like this in the last few days and weeks (e.g. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/summer-programs/931025-desperately-absolutely-need-help.html). Try to look at them, some of the suggested programs are probably still accepting applications.

Hihi

yup, I started that forum.

Well, I got accepted to RSI (research science institute) from the waitlist, so don’t give up!

Also, I sent an e-mail to a couple of small programs in my area, and forced my way into their waitlist. I basically gave them my application and sent them an e-mail, and they said they would offer me a spot if someone bailed. I got into a research internship at Penn that way lol (unfortunately, that deadline has passed).
