Are there differences in the Endowed colleges and the Contract colleges?

The names of my particular colleges appear on my transcript, though they are identified as “program” rather than “college”. The “program” is identified each semester, at the top, and then the individual courses & grades for that semester are listed underneath it.

If you can find the link to the class rank data you can find the admit rates and SAT
%iles, they are all in the institutional research data and they have been posted on CC a number of times already.

I used to make fun of CALS people…but now I’m trying to transfer into it for AEM…I also got rejected from it originally (got into CAS).

In my day there was some ragging among people in different colleges, but it was pretty much all mild and in jest (though evidently Ann Coulter took it seriously). Internally actually it was the Hotel school kids- note this is an endowed college, not a contract college- that took the most crap. But it was widely recognized that nobody would be joking when all their job offers were coming in. Which they did. The Ag school took some crap, but i would say mostly from outside sources rather than internally- for example the Brown marching band would play Old Mcdonald at half time. There was some internal joking, and stereotyping, among all the schools, but also mutual respect. It is hard to start flaming Ag school kids when half of them are kicking your butt in Bio 101. Or ILR kids, when seemingly half their entire class is admitted to law school, and good ones too.

But external perceptions & evaluations, that’s in the eyes of the evaluators.
