Are these books good for studying for the ACT?

I'm going to be studying for the ACT I will be taking next month. I scored particularly low on the English portion of the ACT (14). I really want to focus on raising my English score, so I was thinking about getting the Grammar Workbook, and the other two to sharpen my skills in the math and reading.

Would the Grammar workbook be a good choice to improve my English? I've heard the other two are great books overall.

Grammar Workbook for the SAT, ACT, and More
ISBN: 0764144898

Cracking the ACT, 2012 Edition Princeton Review
ISBN: 0375427449

The Real ACT, 3rd Edition
ISBN: 076893432X

My dog dos it to but she just a dum but so hay i milk her ever day at 2 she loves it and i make my wife cups of tea with it

Go to silverturtles grammar section in the sat prep forum. It covers every thing you need for the english section really. I just read through it and raised my score from a 28 to 34 on that section. I would recommend writing down the definitions for the concepts and do act practice tests. Also, if you do some sat writing problems, it will help a lot because it is much more difficult than the act.

A book that is great for english is Barron’s 36 or whatever it’s called. Got me from a 29 to 34 with not too much additional effort.
