First off, I'm an incoming Junior, so I have 2 years for more EC's and I have 1 more year to increase my SAT score. I increased it to a 1800 over this summer and I wish to apply for NYU CAS in my Senior year.

Here is what I want to know if it is EC:
1. I've been in my school's band for 2 years so far (moving up gradually: freshman year- Beginner band; Sophomore year- Intermediate band; and next year I'll be in Concert Band and play in 2-3 concerts and they give me service credits) So are all three bands their own EC?

I've been on my schools track team since last year and participated in about 15 meets, which is a total of 30-40 total racing events; I started in Indoor Season and finished at outdoor, missed out on Cross country, which I will be doing this year. I'll be rejoining track for the next two years and my practice is already starting next week, 2-3 weeks before school starts. As you can see, I'm very motivated in running and stuff.
So my question is that if all these races and meets are a big EC, like worth more than 5 club equivalents?

I am going to be taking Organic Chemistry in my senior year for the entire year because I have a "high school major" which gives you a sense of college life before you actually go to college. My school is very high achieving, as it is in the top 5 or so in NYC.
Also, I will have these classes called "Modern Instrumental Chemical Analysis" and "Forensic Quantitative Analysis" in senior year. Do these also count as EC?

I want to become a doctor in the future, which is why I want to go to NYU CAS, so are these classes a big plus?

Those aren't all my EC's because I know for a fact that the others are EC.

By the way, if my brother goes to NYU Stern and is doing really well there, can he increase my chances of getting into NYU CAS or even help me get in?
