Are these realistic choices? chance me please? (i'll chance you back if you want!)

MY STATS

Special note: My high school is a competitive science and tech magnet (so you apply but it's public). This means all the classes are honors classes but my country grades on a 94-100 (A) grading scale.
I was out sick for almost 2 months during sophmore year and hopefully this explains the dip in my GPA as I was unable to test well when I was sick. I have a health plan in place at school and my counselor can vouch for this.

I'm wondering if I'm right in placing these following schools in these groups.

Reaches:
Brandeis (Legacy-mother's school)
Northwestern
Emory
Vanderbilt
Barnard (Legacy-grandmother's school)
UC Berkeley

Likely Matches:
American University
Carnegie Mellon
SUNY-Binghamton
UVA
William and Mary

Safties:
Case Western Reserve
Clark University
George Mason
Alleghany University

Are these schools realistic choices and goals? What are my chances at Northwestern, Brandeis, and American (my top choices)?
Possible Majors: Engineering, International Relations, Pre-law, Political Science

Thank you so much! If you'd like me to chance you back just let me know. :)

bump?

and i just realized i forgot to say my gpa i gave is uw. w it's 3.6 cumulative...

please reply i'll reply back to you if you ask! :)

i think all of your schools are realistic choices. The reaches are reaches definitely, but you should still apply. never know...

William and Mary and UVA are unlikely matches............high reaches for you. I understand you had issues, but 3.6 is still a 3.6.

Best of luck.

Yes, George Mason is a safety school for you.

You say that as if 3.6 is a bad GPA.
