does anyone know if a 1890 on the SATs will be good enough to get me (an out of state student) into UCLA or USC? i know its not a very good question. So has anyone gotten in to any of these schools? if so, what were your SAT scores? thanks

both schools would be huge reaches...with an 1890.

UCLA esp since you're OOS
and USC just because you're in their lower 25th percentile

UCS would be easier. but still a reach. That is, from your test scores. I have no clue what your grades ad extracurricular activities are like. Maybe you have a hook.

ya im retaking the SATs this saturday, I just wanted to know where I currently stand. But people do get in with SATs as low as 1890 right? My GPA is 3.9, and I am in a Running Start program (dual enrollment). So I hope that helps my chances

anybody know?

being OOS kills you.

even with USC? i thought since its not a public school it would not affect me

OOS won't matter at USC.

3.9 unweighted or weighted? Either way, you're going to want to boost your SAT scores for both. Good luck!

thanks, well im from Washington State. and in Washington, we dont have weighted or unweighted gpa, so i think its unweighted, right? its out of 4.0

jeez, only 7% of ucla students are from out of state. So its basically impossible to get in if Im not from California, huh?

Not impossible, but you should other schools in mind ;) but I'm sending in an app to Berkeley and UCLA for fun, but I'm not expecting to get in (OOS)
