Are these SSAT scores good enough?

In your experience, do those kids around 50% have trouble keeping up with others? Just curious

I have never really tracked it, but I think with a little extra effort they would be fine.

  1. that score is amazing ■■■
  2. how did it go?? what’s ur results?

As a reality check on low scores and “second tier” schools, a student who had a subscribes in the 30% range at a school that is less selective is now finishing their junior year at Harvard as a physics major. Their mom spoke to parents at an event for accepted students, highlighting the quality of teaching and support at this school.

Hard worker, obviously, and the admissions team saw something here.

Thank you <3

How’d you get a 99 on the verbal? Care to share some tips?

For me, verbal was just memorization and knowing analogy techniques. Although many students get accepted with a low verbal score, it’s nice to show on your application. Reading books also helped a ton.

Good luck on the test!

thanks!

I cannot stress this enough for verbal. Work on analogies! I got a perfect score on the synonyms, but missed 12 analogies. My score would’ve been better (I believe 95th verbal) had I not neglected that section.
