Have the decisions been made already (can't remember where I saw that they'd be finished on the 19th...), and if so, what are they doing now?

Yea, I'm guessing the decision have been pretty much made (I saw on a thread they'd be finished on the 19th too). So now I guess they're starting to prepare for mailing out the decisions (that's a lot of paper).

harvard is mean

The Ivies are just re-checking and making sure no mistakes have been made. I can understand your anxiety. Over on another forum, someone posted "What schools have a small envelope for acceptances?" LOL. The ultimate in pre-decision jitters. Good luck to you on your future endeavors!

everything should be done by now, as other ivies i think

hmm checking and rechecking?? are you sure theyre done?

I just got an email from another ivy TODAY asing me to send in an sat2 score. but they like just sent me something saying my application was complete.

ummm. good sign or bad sign? i mean they are at least still looking at it i guess does that mean i'm like a borderline kid that half like and half dont? haha or maybe a waitlister??? ahhh i dont want to get my hopes up

thesweetlife, my son rec'ed a similar email from a private college in NY (nonivy) a few weeks ago. The email said they didn't have his SAT I scores or transcript. Both had been sent previously. But when we called them to advise that the HS was faxing over the transcript, they said now the system was noting the SAT I was in. Within a few days, we received an early acceptance letter. I think for an ivy to be telling you now, at this date, that they need an SAT II score, that is a positive sign that you at least should have made it to the final cuts. Good luck

yeah, a good sign for sure, since i heard there are several stages of admissions, and it's pretty hard to make it to the final stage (which you obviously did). but that's only something i've heard. harvard has a very mysterious admissions process

Can someone post the link to Inaina's countdown? (the counter that does days, hours and minutes)I've misplaced it somehow. Thanks kindly.
