Are You a 90's Kid?

i remember LIVING for that liquidy yogurt stuff and Tang. orange tang.
when britney spears and N*sync and aaron carter were cool.

I love these types of things.

I am such a 90’s geek.

Pop up video was my FAV.

It used to scare me as a kid though… I was like three… and all I would see if these bubbles on music videos. I thought I was off of the planet or something. Myabe aliens were taking over my tv? XD

i remember that one task that seemed so random.

Anyone remember when Disney Channel didn’t come standard with cable?

You know what, I actually kinda remember that because I remember you had to pay to get a channel that you wanted (kinda like Pay-Per-View, or something like that).

Oh God, I was such a Backstreet Boys freak when I was younger. I was literally obsessed when their Millenium album came out. I remember when girls in my class would argue over who was better: *NSYNC or the Backstreet Boys. Those were the days…

HOLY GOD, Zoombinis was by far my favorite computer game ever!!!

I wouldn’t go that far.

Who wants to be a millionaire?

the original version was so much better than the rerun roadkill they do now

^^^For real.

Just remembered this:

When Polly Pocket didn’t look like a preteen prostitute.
I remember when Polly Pocket actually could fit in your pocket and the little pieces would get stuck in the vacuum cleaner and break it.

I was never a big fan of Polly Pocket when I was younger. Now, when it came to Barbies, THAT was a whole different story…

I had two of those big blue plastic boxes FULL of Barbie stuff. like a remote control car and furniture and EVERYTHING.

eww barbie

^^^Hahaha. To guys–yeah, but to girls under the age of 10, everyone had a Barbie, even if it was a hand me down. I had a Barbie Dream House, Barbie Airplane, Barbie Volkswagon New Beetle. Hell, I even had my own Barbie Jeep!

I can’t remember the name of the show but I believe it was The Busy World of Richard Scarry or something along those lines. I loved that show.

I had the Barbie house with the working elevator, the RV, the limo; I had this huge Barbie collection. And I always had, what my mother affectionately refers to, “the brokedown hooker Barbie,” that one doll that I just stopped liking and cut her hair off and she looked like Hell.
And I would always play with the “good” Barbies and my friends had to take the Brokedown Hooker Barbies --which I specifically remember was Ariel from the Little Mermaid, and this off-brand Walmart-ish Barbie that my abuela bought me, the $3 type that they have in the grocery store.

Memories.
(By the way, I’m a girl hence the Barbie. Everyone on CC always thinks I’m a guy for some reason…)

omg i had a barbie jeep too! and a little red volkswagen. i remember my favorite barbie dress was this dark blue velvet ball dress with silver embroidery. i traded my cousin for it
unfortuantely, when i was older we donated all the barbie stuff to my church/school’s daycare and then it flooded in Katrina, so it’s all gone.

Bumping this for old time’s sake, haha. :P

Nice thread. Someone who is not lazy like me should make one for the '00.
