Are you a morning or night person?

I've always been a night person as long as I can remember and it totally sucks because I don't even go to bed until like 4 am. Even if I do go to bed at a reasonable time and get up early, I always feel like I'm much more awake at night; I even go out sometimes. Is anyone like this, too? Sometimes it really sucks because I have 8 am classes.

If you change your schedule, you will likely adjust automatically. I recommend you do this now so that you will be prepared for most jobs.

Night person…a big time night person

Definitely a night person.

It doesn’t matter what time I go to bed, early or not, but i cannot function in the early morning.

Night person. A persons schedule won’t just readjust either. Some people are just naturally night/day people. From the time I was a baby, I’ve always slept during the day and stayed up all night.

I already registered for my classes next semester. Not a one begins before three…bliss:)

I’m definitely a morning person. Even if I only get 4 hours of sleep, I can wake right back up and be ready to start the day.

I’ll guess you’ll get more bight person responses at 1:30 am eastern

I’m a night person as well

Don’t take 8 am classes if you’re a night person, lol. Actually, just don’t take 8 am classes if you can avoid it. You’ll be sleepy and you’ll get annoyed by lots of loud people who stay up till 1 or 2. Though I suppose you could always invest in ear plugs.

Last year I was a morning person, since I commuted and as such didn’t have to deal with anyone being up longer than me.

Now that I live off-campus with a bunch of students, I’ve become a night person. It’s impossible to stick to a good sleep schedule without some sort of sleeping pills/animal tranquilizers.

Morning Person.

If you’re a morning person, 8 AM classes are perfectly fine. I was worried about them. [See old thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-life/1161499-really-bad-have-8-am-classes.html][/url]

Most people say they’re terrible. Me, I have yet to miss a class and I really don’t think my 8 AM classes are that bad. I naturally wake up between 7:00 and 9:00 anyways.

My parents, on the other hand, are night owls. They don’t go to bed until like 2 and my mom gets up at like 10 or 11. Seeing as how my mother is the one who schedules all of the appointments for the business, it isn’t a problem for her to be a night person. She just schedules appointments for the afternoon usually and my parents don’t take walk-ins anymore.

Completely a night person…I’m a music major and musicians tend to be night people anyways.

I have 1 8 AM class…I haven’t missed it, but it’s very difficult getting up for it. I don’t really fall asleep til sometime in 12-2 AM so 8 AM classes don’t work that well. I’m avoiding them if at all possible after this one.

My roommate, on the other hand, is very upset that her classes she needs next semester aren’t offered at 8 AM!!!

I’m more of a night person, but I also function well right after waking up in the morning. I’m at my worst in the late morning/afternoon.

Night person for sure… I never can really feel awake first thing in the morning and I can easily stay awake until really late…also concentrate better it seems from like 10pm-2am haha, my peak hours. Sucks because I always find myself tired around 3/4ish in the afternoon. I’ve actually tried readjusting myself… I have 9 am classes MWF and work at 8 am T/TH… hasn’t helped one bit. Even if I go to sleep early, and wake up early, I still feel tired and can barely get up in the mornings. I set like 4 phone alarms hahaha

Night person, 100%. It’s kind of getting worse actually. I keep going to bed at 3 or 4 a.m. now and I think less and less of it each time lol.
