Are you a vegetarian/vegan?

NO vegetarians are stupid tree hugging hippie liberals

yeah, **** these "holier than thou" movements

to omgtay, you need to plow land to feed animals to eat them. im just saying by eating plants, etc, you dont need to grow as much. stop being such a ing *** and suck some dicks.

btw, with the whole thing about it being natural for animals to eat animals, i agree, but conditions of massmarket farming are not. support local farms!

Foreman, I was talking to you and the person above you. You were referring to wealthy people being snooty and upidity about it. I was referring to being poor and having more money since I don't eat meat. Fruits and veggies are more available because they're cheaper.

for the SECOND time, nowhere in my post did i mention "wealthy". Unless of course "wealthy" and "snobby" are a corollary, which I suppose they are! Plus, you can't tell me your too poor to afford meat on the internet, that's just illogical

^ I never said I was too poor to afford meat, I said I was poor and saved money by being vegetarian. I can afford internet because I am frugal with money.

And you, in your post, were referring to the people that Heavn was talking about which, and I quote, are "wealthy" and "affluent" people. When you use ^ <-- that it means that you are responding to the person above you, who, in this case, was talking about wealthy and affluent people.

yeah, i was responding to him by saying who i thought vegetarians were. nowhere did i say i agree about the wealthy aspect. quit making assumptions, it makes you look dumb

If you implied something, how is it dumb to infer from that implication?

By the way, use capital letters. It makes you look dumb.

i never implied anything, i was straightforward all the way. if using capital letters makes me look dumb, why would I do it? so i guess you're the dumb one, based on your own logic.
BTW vegetarianism kills more animals than being a carnivore does.
Uh, how does this work?
wow you're a ing dumbass. being vegetarian is not natural and you kill a lot more small animals (rabbits etc) while plowing your *ing ***.
This is confusing too. What about growing the food that animals eat? Do they use different methods that don't include plows or something?
Are you not aware that other animals kill other animals to eat?
And this is my justification, I'm probably wrong about something, but it seems like getting meat from growing animals in farms to be killed is a lot different than killing animals with your own body, or even hunting.

^yeah, you're wrong

^ Wow, great argument.

well romanigypsyeyes, considering you completely ignored my post, i'm gonna guess you had no refute to my points either

doesn't matter, because every year millions of animals are killed during harvesting season to make your precious food. which basically makes vegetarian's hypocrites

^ No, I've just made it a point not to argue with idiots on the internet. It used to take up too much of my time. I saw your post, I just chose not to respond.

...and yet you're still arguing and responding with an "idiot". Go on, keep making my day. Fact of the matter is there is no logic for vegetarianism, except people who don't like the taste of meat

^ Haha. You make me laugh. :)

That is the first time I used the word "idiot". I don't mind the taste of meat. I am a vegetarian for numerous reasons, none of which I feel like telling you because you have heard them all before. You keep arguing with yourself since I am, in fact, not arguing with you. I have simply tried to tell you that I am done with this conversation because neither of us are contributing anything. I because I don't like to deal with people who simply attack other people without any proof, and you because you simply contribute nothing to the thread. Therefore, I won't take up space on this thread by continuing to discuss this. So, for a second time, I am done. Good day.

Vegetarianism, especially for cultural/religious reasons, is perfectly fine with me. It's those holier than thou, proselytizing vegans that **** me off.

Man was made to be omnivorous. It's the most healthy way (most cases for why vegetarianism is healthier compare very priviledged organic shopping vegans with average joe greasy hamburger eaters and then act like they have concluded remotely useful.) It is the most delicious way, in my opinion. Most importantly, meat consumption and veggie consumption are both fuelers of our economy - ending either would be disastrous.

Sorry if this is a repetition of anything previously stated, I argue this topic with my gf too much for me to read it all.

And PETA is just a cohesion of insane animal loving cultist-hippies, glued together by their need to feel important and a part of a cause, no matter how retarded the cause actually is.

^ Ugh. I agree (with the PETA stuff) I hate PETA. They are the biggest bunch of hypocrites you will ever encounter. Vegetarian STRONGLY against PETA.

EDIT: I believe in what they believe in, sort of. I believe in animal rights, very little testing on animals, not wearing animals, etc. I am hippyish and part of many causes, but I do not believe in being hypocritical and causing more harm than good like PETA does. Look up statistics on how many animals they kill. It's disgusting.

I'm not a fan of PETA either. I can understand why vegetarians try to convince omnivores to stop eating meat though. After all, don't all groups like that try to convince others to adopt their stances? Religious groups that protest against abortion, groups like GLAAD who have been trying to convince everyone that gay marriage should be legal, etc.

There is a certain line that shouldn't be crossed though. Information can be provided but when vegetarians or omnivores resort to personal attacks saying that "you're a murderer for eating meat" or "you're a stupid vegetarian" it's just childish.

...so is living under the pretense that not eating meat will change anything
