a meat-aterian?
i am.
goooooooooooooooo meat!

nooooooooo. yuck

I eat chicken for lunch every school day, but my diet consists mostly of cereal.

carnivore here. vegetables are what food eats

I love knowing that I'm munching on the remains of innocent animals!

I eat meat. It's more to avoid being a bother to people. I don't necessarily like meat, but I have no interest in "animal rights" or anything like that. If people ask me what I want for dinner, I'll probably say a non-meat thing, but if they want to cook meat, I won't make them cook something special just for me.

I'm a hardcore meat-eater.

Human on a strict Vegan diet = Dead or damaged by vitamin B12 deficiency.

You cannot make a moral decision that changes the laws of nature. Humans are omnivores. Look at your teeth!!!! We are meant to eat everything, whether the design came from evolution, God, or God using evolution.

That being said, we Americans eat too much meat. Occasional meat should be a (needed)treat.

The fact that a vegan who falls off the wagon occasionally is not subject to vitamin deficiencies should be a lesson for their more fanatic fellows as well as for relentless carnivores.

lol "vagitarian"

Yes and no. My strict, immigrant parents force me to eat meat even though I don't like it. Pretty sad that I'll be 17 in less than two months and I can't even control the size of my portions or what I eat! Anyways, I hate steak, roast, etc etc. but I will eat chicken. I'm not all "oh let's never eat meat" because it has always been a part of life. Animals eat animals so humans can eat animals as well. But I do wish the animals were being treated MUCH more humanely. Some poor things never even see daylight and live in awful conditions. :(

Steaks, chicken, grill. No meat cooked in fast-food restaurants though, since I'm paranoid about the quality of it.

So basically, if I can watch it cook, then I can eat it.

Omnivore, homes..

"Human on a strict Vegan diet = Dead or damaged by vitamin B12 deficiency"

Do you know how easy it is to find things that have B12 fortified in them? Extremely.

Its also stored by your body, and you don't need very much of it each day. It also would take quite some time (years) of inadequate supply to be damaged. That can happen to anyone (like picky eaters), not vegans in particular.

Its very easy to create foods that do what meat does, and with the technology we have today its extremely easy to create and get all of our nutritional needs (no, not just in a vitamin pill, but through food) in a way that doesn't harm other living beings. And while it may not quite be the most "natural" way, neither is how a hamburger is produced. The only exception I might see to this is hunting.

I don't care if anyone else eats meat, but it is fine and healthy to be a vegan also.

I've been a vegan for about 3 years now and am much healthier than I've ever been before. :)

It is a disgrace not to eat meat. Its only human. I love a large juicy steak. All you vegans and vegitrians have betrayed your own race. How could you have? All you Progressives with your reforms...

Meat=Human Food
Vegetables=Human Food

Get over it!

^ "vegitrians"? and 'human' isn't a race...

i agree with your message but...certain aspects of your post undermine it

Meat is great. If you are a vegetarian or vegan, you have been brainwashed by PETA.

honorstudent,
Your point regarding the conditions our society imposes on natural prey/food animals is quite valid. I pay more for "free-range" meat when I can get it. But most of the time I just buy what's in the supermarket. Same for "organic" vegetables/fruits.

BigG, yeah same here. We just buy whatever. But even meats labeled free-range can be tricky. I read somewhere that companies can put that on their label even if they let the animals out just for five minutes. :(

no way i aint no carnivore.

white meat chicken...that's basically the only kind of meat I'm willing to eat!
TOFU IS GROSSSSSS!!!!
Not a vegetarian, just don't really like meat all that much.
