Okay so I’m collecting data for my stats project… I’m posting this in three sub-forums to get a stratified sample... the transfers forum, the high school forum, and here. Please answer the question yes/no somewhere in your post. I’ll do the counting so don’t worry about that. I will post the results by the end of the week in case anyone is interested.

If you don’t know if you’re afraid of spiders, google image for some pics. I’d post some links here, but I hit the X immediately when I see anything that resembles spiders… or snakes, for that matter. >_>

I used to be deathly afraid of them but now I carry them outside without too much hoopla.
There is an argument that fear of spiders and snakes is inherited from our hominid ancesters, who evolved a healthy fear of these poisonous creatures.
The terror caused by those two creatures does seem a bit excessive, though.

Spiders scare me so much. There is no other bug or reptile that can freak me out like a spider can. I can manage to squash the little ones but I can't even go near the big ones.

No. Can they hurt me? No. Can bees and wasps hurt me? Yes. I'm scared of bees and wasps.
I dont kill spiders though. I dont kill any insects. They're disgusting but I dont like killing them..
