^ Buuuuuuurn.

Yes, I am an adult. I go to class full-time, I work full-time, I pay my rent/bills, cook, and such.

Am I not allowed to participate in discussions here?

Is there anything inherently wrong with an adult posting in a HS forum?

There’s nothing wrong with it. I’m just a middle schooler, and I’m posting.

There’s nothing wrong with participating in the discussion, Hairy Lemon, but that’s not what you’re doing. @basic still hasn’t gotten any feedback because you felt that we needed to know you think this thread is stupid.

9.5/10 your ECs are unique and show personality. I kind of afraid of what people are going to rate me lol.
I’m hoping for Stanford 2020

Blogging 10,11,12. I blog about my thoughts and opinions on society, law and other things

Delta Sigma Theta Scholars 9,10 11,12- African American Sorority. We talk about problems facing the black community and do community service. Probably will get a leadership position in this

Should I Join more? I’m considering International club, NHS and/or Model UN

9/10 You truly seem to have a passion for everything that you do, and it’s not too much that you’re just spreading yourself too thin. Only thing would be to have more leadership positions, but you’ll have three more years to do that.

International club and NHS certainly wouldn’t hurt you, and would give you just about the ‘ideal’ number of extracurricular activities.

Here are mine:

Sing Carnatic music (type of Indian classical music) for the past 10 years and training to perform 3-hour concert debut by the end of senior year
- Requires 2 hours of practice daily and is my main extracurricular activity

Volunteer at local hospital

Tutored kids with special needs for two weeks this summer
Volunteered at a preschool for two weeks this summer

Referee youth town soccer for the past year
Volunteer at my temple where I’ve attended cultural classes for the past 10+ years

National German Exam, Gold Level

I’m a rising sophomore, so this coming school year I’m applying to NHS as well (which I should get in to) and adding ‘Best Buddies,’ which is a club that allows me to interact weekly with my peers who have special needs.

I know I don’t have that many extracurricular activities or seem to have a particular focus, but I’d like my academic focus to become tutoring/science and cultural activities like my temple and singing, as well as the North South Foundation competitions. :P
