a whole different culture, jonathan k? HOW???? they dress like us, eat like us, and like someone else said, feel anger, joy, pain, disgust, bitterness, JUST LIKE US!!!!!!!

good lord! and gays DO NOT HAVE A CHOICE!!!!!! like i said before, they have a CHOICE whether to come out of the closet or not, but they DO NOT CHOOSE IF THEY ARE HOMOSEXUAL OR NOT!! ask yourself, CAN U DECIDE WHETHER TO BE GAY OR STRAIGHT??? no! i mean, im straight, and i doubt if i WANTED to, i could suddenly be attracted to other girls. no u are straight regardless if you want to be straight or not, and you are gay regardless if you want to be gay or not.

shaddix, I wrote about the 2 daddies there buddy read the thread please. and iluvas, its nice that you can repeat points that have already been made.

No, everyone knows that all gay people love plays and musicals, talk in a high pitched voice, wear tight clothes, sexually prmoiscuous.

Also EVERY gay male I've met except 1 or 2 has been mean when I try to be nice, like they think they're superior. But lesbians are nice, it's strange.

Gay people should not be allowed to adopt BECAUSE that kind of behavior should not influence a blank slate (the child). Not that it's bad, but I don't think it's good for little children to be around...they need to learn specific lessons from a male figure and a female figure. Plus, could you imagine when the 1st grader tells his teacher he has 2 daddies how the other kids would react. Homo couples should be allowed to adopt only kids like 15 or 16 or older or something I think.

sittingbull, I have seen some dysfuncional heterosexual couples...myself being the product of one. I still don't think orientation plays such a big role in parenting. Anyhow does a young boy who is raised by his mother mean he will turn out gay due to lack of a paternal figure? Gay people are just as capable of rasing healthy children as any other responsible person. Sure other people may not understand, but as long as a healthy environment is provided for what is the problem...

shravas...I like plays, but not musicals, I talk in a high pitched voice, I sometimes wear tight clothes, but have never been sexually promiscuous...I fit 3 out of 5 does that make me a homosexual...:p

I just have to respond one more time to Jonathan K.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, guy. Just like there is no single heterosexual culture, there is no one single bisexual or homosexual culture. To say otherwise is a form of extreme prejudice, and to suggest that I as a bisexual should immediately identify with "flamers" made me laugh.

It was a refreshing change, anyway. Most of this thread hurt me a lot. Hopefully you can take that into consideration in the future. It's easy to discuss a group of people as though they were beneath you -- unless they're right in front of you.

I can't believe you guys are college bound.

kids in school used to be given a hard time if the parents were divorced...everyone got over that

only close minded people would bother a little kid about the parents, to do that is cruel

i was teased because my mother smoked a pipe and i lived in alaska
kids are teased because their parents are overweight, or are Jewish, or wear glasses, its all mean

two daddies, two mommies, a divorced mom, a gay sister, who cares!!!

ahhahahahha hahahhahah ahahhahh lmao.............people got teased because their parents wear glasses....now THATS FUNNY....i wear glasses and so does my father.....no one ever said anythign to me

"Anyhow does a young boy who is raised by his mother mean he will turn out gay due to lack of a paternal figure"

This is just my theory...don't ask for proof, don't ask whys and hows or try to contradict, just accept it as my theory and you don't need to respond to it: If the boy doesn't have a father, he will be hanging around with his mother. Not that that necessarily means anything but he wont be exposed to typical male activities and wont observe typical male behavior. He will be more into things like shopping or clothes or what not if there is no father unless the mother is tomboyish. And I am aware of all of the "BUT blah blah blah that may contradict what I just said, but I don't care and you don't need to say it although I'm sure some idiot will just to sound smart.
