Are you supposed to send your AP scores everywhere?

I have good AP scores (three 5’s and two 4’s) but it is rather expensive to send AP scores to every single school I’m applying to. Do people usually send their scores everywhere?

You only send one AP score report to the college that you will be attending, AFTER you've been admitted.

To report your scores on your applications, either the school will have a spot for them (such as MIT and Harvard), or you can add it as supplementary information.

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't you only officially report AP scores to the school you will be attending? If AP scores are on your transcript colleges will see them and most apps have a spot for AP scores anyway.

Then again, I'm not completely sure...

Ditto to what theoneo and JTC007 have said. You only send an official score report after you decide what college you will attend. You can selectively write/omit AP scores on your applications.

so you cant send your score report to the colleges that you are applying to? Why not?

You can, but there's no need to spend the $7 (or whatever the fee is) to send score reports to each college.

Yep, the $15 per report.
