I forgot to mention that I was the only person at my school to take AP Physics B and AP Physics C! (our school doesn't offer AP Physics B or AP Physics C, only regular physics. I had to take them online)

I also forgot to mention that I am one of the two people at my school who is taking AP Calculus B/C (our school curriculum is set so that a student takes AP Calculus A/B in his senior year).

Oh man! I think that was my only hook, but I forgot to mention it! Although I did mention that I took them online, I didn't talk about how I was the only person to take those classes! Dang it!

I hope I don't get rejected but just get deferred so I can send MIT information about this.

So your application was centered around your love for learning -- that as your hook? Don't you also need an ec activity which throughly engages you (ie. a passion)?

Like activities you do outside of class (ie. research, lots of community service, a club that consumed your life, an activity which you completely applied yourself too, etc...) Mine, for example, is research. I've worked extensively (for over 2yrs) on solving our fossil fuel crisis by developing an alternative method for producing hydrogen which can fuel internal combustion engines. In addition, I've done a bit of research in neuropsychology (the neurological basis for learning).

Note: My acomplishments are not significant! Throughout my application, I emphasize my research being in its infancy and MIT that might enable me to make a difference.

I think they're interested in the drive, rather than the experimentation itself. They want to know that you've acted on your interests and pursued your passions.
