I'm a junior in my high school and I'm planning on going for a Army ROTC scholarship but I have a few questions on what exactly I should be focusing on in the coming year. First, I would like to know how many high school students on average get 4-year scholarships. Also, I would like to know if my major will affect my chances on gaining the scholarships. Another thing I would like to know is what gives me more of a chance in winning the scholarship, i.e. fitness level, common ACT scores for scholarship winners, common GPAs, and extracurricular activities. If anyone has any info in regards to these questions it would be much appreciated.

P.S. I am only looking for information about Army ROTC, I do not want to join another branch.
