  1. Do I have a better chance of getting a 3 year scholarship or 2 year scholarship? The reason why I ask is because I asked Brett Johnson (recruiting officer I think for Western Michigan University Army ROTC Bronco Battalion) last time and he told me they won't accept "new sophomores".

I’m a second year student looking at army ROTC at Western too! I’m prospectively transferring so looking around and spoke with a Wayne recruiter just recently to find out more about the program… from what he told me is it is possible. But scholarships depend on your physical tests and what not, compared to financial need base. I read in the pamphlet that in the summer you can do like a basic training course in 4 weeks to prepare you for the upcoming year? Not sure exactly, I plan on speaking with another recruiter soon before all is said and done.
