I've always assumed Aron apartment suites were three typical dorm rooms with a common room, two baths, and a kitchen. I was wondering if someone could shed light on this:

1) Is there an oven in the kitchen? I don't consider it a kitchen unless there is a oven...

2) Are the dorms nicer than other dorms? As in, the rooms. Why?

3) Looking on satellite, one can see various areas enclosed by four sides of the building. Are there gardens/trees here or is it very ugly?

I lived on the second floor of Aron Apartments last year.
1)The kitchen is nice, but quite small. There is a large fridge with freezer, oven with stove, dishwasher, sink, and cabinet space. It is a tight fit (can’t open fridge and dishwasher at the same time). We found that there wasn’t enough space for everyone’s dishes and food in the cabinets, so this year we plan on buying a pantry to place in the adjacent living room.
2)Dorm rooms are nicer than say Monroe freshman dorms. The beds are smaller (normal twin) and placed on a large cabinet box for storage. I had to get a memory foam mattress pad since it is very uncomfortable. There is a small window, two long shelves, a large desk, and a large double closet. The room is pretty small, but comfortable as a single.
3)In the middle of the of the apartment complex there is a circle with trees and park benches. Any area inside the complex has something (trees, palms, gardens, etc). The campus tends the areas well and the flowers can be really nice in the spring.
4)Each roommate will have their ID to swipe into the apartment gate and main door, and each room will lock with a separate key. I found that it was easiest to only lock my room when I was away for a long period of time.
5)No elevator, not fun for August move-in
Let me know if you have any more questions!

I was about to post all the same info as Allykat, but I have one minor difference in my room in Aron. Instead of having the cabinet box under my bed, I had a bed that adjusted up and down (exactly like the beds in Monroe). The furniture varies slightly between all the apartments (my room had a loveseat and a nice chair, while some other rooms just have one large couch), but there aren’t any major differences.

To make a bit more room, last year I put the bookshelf on top of my desk, which 1) took up less floor space and 2) gave me shelves above my desk! The rooms aren’t luxurious, but even for having as much stuff as I do, it was comfortable.
