Art His 54

ART HIS 54 with Baker. any input, anyone? hard, easy, lots of reading? i looked on bruinwalk already but not much came up. same with my astro 3 professor (mccrady, new guy, i'm assuming)

i have to take physics winter quarter and since that is DEFINITELY not my thing, i'll have to be careful not to overload, you understand.

:) any advice? it'd be very much appreciated.

i heard art his as a class isn't too bad...sorry no help on the prof...but with those three classes, your schedule seems very manageable

ekn111, i also have my GE cluster as well... which has been giving me a bit of trouble =/ so i dont know if i can handle it all.

thanks for the advice though :)

hmm...well i only heard a friend talk about art his...so i can't give you an accurate gauge of its difficulty..again sorry!...but if worse comes to worst, you can always drop a class right? what do you think?

ahhh, definitely. dropping may turn out to be a good choice. not sure though, because i may want to take this fiat lux course. hmmm.. thinking about it.

well, do you have to take astro 3 this quarter? you can take that next quarter so you'll only have your ge, art his, physics, and a fiat lux. sounds like a cool schedule to me :D

is it better to load up right now (just knowing that my modern art class has a ton of reading, as i can tell from the textbook list) on fulfilling my GE unit for next quarter? i heard that most people just study hard for winter quarter (since its cold and not much to do out)-- so i should just get it over right? at the same time, better to do well in my 3 classes and fiat lux rather than not do so great on 4.

yeah...it's really up to you and how much you think you can handle... why don't you take four then and see how it goes...if it doesn't work out, you can drop one and still do the fiat lux...with fiat lux classes, the profs seem really accomodating...i've talked to a few already and all of them have said that they don't mind having an extra student in the discussion... you might not be officially enrolled in the fiat lux but you can still participate in it...
