physics 6b-arisaka vs. hauser

both seem pretty good; i don't know which one i'm picking tomorrow morning!

arisaka's rating on bruinwalk is ever so slightly higher than hauser's. but not sure which one is worth my priority enrollment.

physics is by far my worst subject, so picking the right prof here is definitely important. i do not enjoy it though i try. my brain does not go well with physics... so i hope for a professor who is very generous to those slow physics learners like me. :)

*by the way is there 6BH? i heard something like budget cuts during the early of the year... honors physics, if present, should be listed under "honors collegium" in the ucla registrar?

On a secondary note, here is my planned schedule. the first two classes I will use for priority:
physics 6b-arisaka?
ls 3-Olague
Chem 14d-hardinger

i want to take an honors collegium class on psychology of fear... or an easy GE. would that be too much? just so i won't be bombarded w/ too much south campus (like what i am doing now)! and i feel behind on my schedule as i plan to have a major and minor and graduate on time without a year off between now and grad school.

i am a second year phy sci maj/english minor/pre-med...am i behind? (the last english i took was 10a and i can't take 10b winter cuz it conflicts w/ chem 14d). perhaps i could take chem 14d later and enroll in english? is that an ok idea?

Johnson isn't teaching LS3 next quarter, unfortunately. It's either Lin or some other person. Not sure who to take either!

Arisaka for physics, hands down - best science prof I had at UCLA. Not to mention, his tests are entirely conceptual and correspond almost exactly to his practice tests. Great class.

haha ok i'm gonna take arisaka! :)

regarding ls 3, i remember a post saying that lin was difficult in some way... i tried to search posts but i can't find anything. so, as of now, i'm gonna pick professor olague. he has no rating on bruinwalk and no one seems to know him. so im gonna risk it!

anyone know of olague for ls 3?
