I am a student at Marist College (on a leave of absence this semester) and looking to transfer for the Spring 2013 semester. I am very passionate about art history and want to major in it. I really want a bigger school that is affordable (preferably under 30k for all tuition, board, and fees) that has a lot of school spirit and a good art program. I really do not care about location - like I said, my big concerns are size, cost, and a good art history program.

I have already applied to UConn (in state) and am considering University of South Florida. Thanks for the help!

There are some great public universities with excellent Art History programs, like UCLA, but their OOS fees are astronomical. Public does not equal inexpensive. Throw a few privates with good financial aid into the mix.

It’s not that my family can pay that much, it’s just that I would rather not take out more than that in loans per year. So far I’ve borrowed 16k. Do spring transfers really not get much money an if so, why not?
