are there rankings out there for art history? I wan to transfer from a cc but don;t have much information on where to go

Find out where the art historians that you admire are teaching.
(thats what I did for my undergrad and grad in art history) I went to study with a specific scholar in the field I was interested in.

where did you attend? i really don’t know of any art historians. I was considering cornell because of the possibility of transfering into architecture

UCLA . Just wondering -have you read any books on art history? Are you sure you want to go into art history without any exposure to the field? This is in no way a criticism, but in order to make an informed decision, you might want to start doing some serious reading. Start with your favorite period of art and find out who has done the important scholarly work. There is no reason to go to a school that is highly ranked, just to find out that the people you would want to study with are elsewhere.
