Art Major- Easier to get into?

<p>Hey. </p>

<p>Studio Art is my major that I applied for Berkeley. I'm ELC and have a 4.0 UC GPA. I have other art related EC's such as attending a state summer program called CSSSA which 500 people gain entrance and completed all 3 AP art portfolios. The only thing keeping me down is my 1810 SAT :O. </p>

<p>Would getting into Art as a major be harder/easier for me? Do you think they'll accept me? Both my essays are art related.</p>

<p>That major is in the College of Letters and Science(CLS). In that college, the admission is blind of the major you select. So you would have as much of an equal opportunity as a Math major(in CLS). Generally, the CLS is the easier way to get into Cal</p>

<p>Getting into Berkeley through LS is much easier than say, the college of Engineering.</p>

<p>Your 4.0 UWGPA greatly increases your chances, and if your interest for art will outweigh your SAT score. Don't worry.</p>
