Art Portfolio: To submit or not to submit?

Hi all,

I’m applying RD to Wes, hoping to major in something along the lines of Govt. or History. I’m a match-ish international candidate, with a high IBDP score and a 2250 SAT.

I have an art (visual art) portfolio. It’s good, but not extraordinary. I’ve studied Art for a while but haven’t ever participated in any competitions or anything.

Do you think I should submit it? Will it detract from my application? Are portfolios reviewed by faculty members?

I say do it bad art will have no effect on your admissions

The portfolios are indeed reviewed by specific arts departments. It really doesn’t hurt to send in that little extra something.
