<p>I'm not thinking of applying to any art schools, but rather schools such as Harvey Mudd, or CMU. Can I submit an art portfolio to such schools as a supplement to my application? If so, how do I submit my art portfolio?</p>

<p>Also, I'm not completely how an art portfolio works. Do I have to write anything in addition to my best works?</p>

<p>Call them – some schools don’t want this at all. I suspect you want to submit great photographs and burn them on a CD.</p>

<p>There’s an art supplement section in the common application. Could you just follw it? IS it for art majors only?</p>
