My son is a junior at Otterbein and playing Nigel Bottom in Something Rotten there this spring. Hit me up if you have questions. Hit him up if you are touring the campus
What is the size of her sophomore acting class? Thanks in advance!
There are 22 in the sophomore Acting class.
My son just heard from Western Michigan University. Here is his list so far:
Accepted:
Western Michigan (BFA MT)
Manhattanville (BFA MT)
Pace (BFA Acting)
Nazareth (BFA MT)
University of New Hampshire (BA MT)
Western Illinois (BFA MT) - released
Still waiting:
Sheridan (Canada)
NYU Tisch
we heard on 3/11 (from ROOS/CCPA)
Actor mom brand new to this forum. I shouldâve joined months ago! Nice to have a place to focus and connect when this process feels stressful.
Daughterâs bfa/acting results so far:
Accepted - BoCo, Roosevelt/CCPA, Marymount Manhattan
WL - Emerson
Waiting - New, NYU/Tisch, CalArts
No - CMU, DePaul, Juilliard
Brutal process, but so much learning⊠and the auditions themselves she has loved (most of them). She loved CMU pre-college and was heartbroken to miss an opportunity there, but recovering now - and truly we know what happens is whatâs meant to be.
Thanks for all your posts here - itâs helpful!
wonderful choices for her! does she have a first choice?
of the accepted schools she loves BoCo. Waiting, itâs between NYU and CalArts⊠fingers crossed! Will release Marymount and Roosevelt this week.
Is there any chance to hear from BoCo this week?
I think they will be released this Friday.
Still waiting on Ball State too.
Why do you think that?
Last year they were released on March 26 for RD applicants! That was a Friday! They might want to keep it the same.
Congrats! If your son has any questions about Western Michigan MT let me know. My D is a graduating MT senior.
Thank you!! We would LOVE to hear any feedback. He is very torn on which school to choose.
Has anyone heard back from Temple MT? I auditioned on 2/27.
So i guess we now know⊠âIâm good if youâre goodâ means he really is good. Congrats!!
Thank you. Did your daughter get in?
Yes, for Musical Theater. She cried.
Hi Damie. Did your son receive a separate communication from Pace admitting him academically and a separate communication accepting him into the Theater Program? My D just received an email accepting her into the school academically and we just didnât know if the MT program will communicate separately (as other schools generally have).
Thank you so much!
