Which school is easier to get into -- Arts and Sciences or ILR?

don’t just apply because it’s easier though. Apply because you actually would want to graduate with that major. Know what you are getting into.

Wrong question. You may deserve a place at Cornell (in my opinion) once you learn to ask the right question. Unless of course you weren’t trying to figure out which college to apply to. However personal forum experience suggests you are trying to figure out the easiest way into Cornell.

It’s been a while since this thread has been active, but I’m hoping someone is still able to answer my question. Which school (IRL or A&S) would be a better fit for someone looking to have a career in foreign diplomacy or international finance?

ILR is easier to get into, but the above contributors are right – if you are just trying to find the easiest way in, you don’t deserve a Cornell education. And, Victoria, A&S is better if you want to get into foreign service or international finance. I would suggest ILR if you want to get into international HR or something labor-oriented.
